About Us Founded in 1992 Rother Diving Club mission statement has always been to make diving a safe and enjoyable sport for all. As a club we are able to train people at a comfortable pace ensuring continued safe practice. Training through commercial organizations does not suit everybody as there is often a set pace and timetable restricted by costs, at the RDC everybody trains at the pace that suits their ability not their pocket. The RDC trains and operates under the rules and guidance of The Sub Aqua Association. Training manuals, qualification logs and literature are all included within your training fee. Whilst training and once qualified the SAA offer many further course together with continued support. The SAA is affiliated to CMAS which gives you a prestigious diving qualification recognised worldwide.. Rother diving club is entirely self governing by annually elected committee members. All club members are encouraged to play an active part in arranging diving and social events as well as taking part in the running of the club.
Membership Fees Membership of the club currently costs £90 per year for a full diving member, which you must be before training or any other facilities are provided. There is no fee to join the club but if you join as an untrained `novice' there is a training fee of £80.00, which covers all initial training costs. Weekly swimming sessions cost an additional £2.50 Social membership is also available. (POA)
